The Bake Off Final Problem

We don't know about you, but we've been watching a lot of Great British Bake Off during quarantine. This episode mixes together two classic BBC programs: Great British Bake Off and Sherlock. It might be elementary for Watson, but it's time to brush up on your metric units and get ready, set, BAKE!

Pairing: Bee's Knees - In a shaker of ice mix together 1/2 oz Honey simple syrup, 1 oz lemon juice, and 2 oz gin. Pour into a glass and add a lemon Twist for garnish.

Pairing:  Mystery on the Rocks - Mix equal parts coconut rum, creme de bananes (99 bananas if you're Claire and that's all you can find), melon liqueur, and pineapple juice. Blend with enough ice to make slushy. Poor into glass and enjoy!

The Mortal Instruments: Fanfic Origins

Bonus episode alert! Grace and Claire break out of their hiatus to bring you this important message...your favorite book series may have started its life as a fanfiction. GASP! Grace and Claire welcome their editor Josie to bring you the deep dive of a lifetime, where we ask what truly is TMI.

Pairing: Start your deep dive with a "Blue Devil" shot and then sip your own mortal cup filled with "Archangel" for the rest of the episode.

Blue Devil shot - Wet the rim of your shot glass using a lemon wedge. Add 1 oz of tequila, 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice, and a dash of Rose's Lime Juice. Carefully pour a dash of blue curacao into your shot to create layers.

Archangel - Muddle cucumber slice in mixing glass being careful not to pulverize the cucumber complete. Add 2.25 oz gin and 0.75 oz Aperol into the mixing glass and fill with ice. Stir until chilled completed. Strain into a cocktail glass and enjoy!

Peeta Mellark's Five Favorite Things to Bake

Fanfiction is all fun and games until you get emotionally invested and it makes you cry. This week's episode is a Hunger Games fanfiction written from Peeta Mellark's perspective. Get ready to have your tear glands punched in the face.

Pairing: Baker's Berry Punch - Steep 3 bags of hibiscus rose tea into 3 cups of boiling water for 2-3 minutes. Stir in 1 tbsp of honey and chill for at least 2 hours. Muddle half of an orange (sliced), 1/2 cup raspberries, 1/3 cup orange juice, and 4.5 oz of vodka. Mix with hibiscus rose tea in a pitcher. Slowly add 1.5 cups of Sprite. 

Serve with ice, garnished with an orange slice and raspberries if desired.
